加拿大四川同乡会( Federation of Canadian Sichuanese Associates)于一九九五年在多伦多成立,是在政府部门注册登记的一个非谋利民间组织。同乡会的宗旨是:团结乡亲,联谊乡情,互助互爱,服务社区,关心家乡。同乡会毎次活动都吸引了来自中国大陆、香港、台湾等世界各地的四川老乡参加,同时得到各界人士的赞助和支持,活动受到加拿大各级政府,中国驻多伦多总领馆和兄弟社团的高度重视和关注。四川同乡会成立近三十多年来,经历了华人社区的变化,在同乡会组织的各种活动中,老乡们欢聚一堂,新朋老友,一家老少,川音川调,不仅分享生活,工作及商业信息等,而且关心国家大事,积极鼓励和支持华人参政,特别推动和帮助我们四川老乡竞选加拿大各级政府议席。同时同乡会也热情接待从家乡到访多伦多的各种团体并配合他们的活动,也积极参与四川省的各级单位为侨胞及海外社团组织的活动,例如海外交流协会,海科会,寻根之旅等等。除了每年举行的各种活动以外,我们特别要提出的是,在汶川,雅安发生特大地震后,以加拿大四川同乡会为首联合其它川籍社团成立的赈灾委员会,积极开展了各种形式赈灾活动, 为地震灾区和家乡的父老乡亲积极捐献善款、奉献爱心。

2020年国内新冠疫情严重,国内防护物质短缺,同乡会在多伦多地区四处采购,终于不负众望发了数批口罩回成都,解了国内抗疫燃眉之急。 数月后疫情在加拿大也开始严重了,国内物资短缺已经解决,反而加拿大这边缺少基本的口罩手套, 同乡会收到了国内单位捐赠的一批口罩, 理事会成员积极参与联系及免费分发给了我们会员。

同乡会的发展与壮大离不开各位老乡的支持和帮助,在大家的努力下四川同乡会发展成为了多伦多地区的大型华人社团之一,赢得海内外广泛赞誉。 

同乡会将会密切与各界合作为四川老乡和广大侨胞服务,促进加拿大和中国特别是四川省之间的文化,科技,经贸及人才交流,使加拿大四川同乡会真正成为各方的桥梁和纽带,实现共同愿望,共创美好未来。

      我们秉承“美不美乡中水,亲不亲故乡人”之遵循,以不分政治和宗教信仰,相互关心照顾、彼此友爱扶持、联络乡情、交流友谊、促进文化交流、发扬四川人生而固有的美德为宗旨,将侨居加拿大境内的四川籍人士结合在一起。四川同乡会成立于一九九五年五月,创会会长为周杨茜,自此,在远离故乡的加拿大土地上,四川人有了一个自己的“家”。经过几年来的努力,会员由最初的十多人增至上千人。

 其宗旨是:联谊乡情,互助互爱,不分党派,共谋发展。

Chengdu is the capital of southwestern China's Sichuan province. Chengdu's history dates back to at least the 4th century B.C., when it served as capital for the Shu Kingdom. Artifacts from that dynasty are the focus of the Jinsha Site Museum. The city is also home to the famous Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, a conservation center where visitors can view endangered giant pandas in a natural habitat.

At the 2020 census it was home to 5,607,565 people, of whom 1,936,534 lived in the built-up area made of three urban districts.
